Women Leadership in Climate Action E-Course

L'Oréal Women and Climate - Women4Climate

About the e-course

Empowering women as leaders in climate action is not just a matter of equality, but a necessity for effective and just solutions. Women are disproportionately affected by climate change, yet they remain underrepresented in decision-making roles. Too many women are still facing gender-related barriers that prevent their voices from being heard and from reaching their full potential.

The free e-course ‘Developing Skills for Women Leadership in Climate Action’ recognizes this critical need and provides women who are ready to start, or have just stared their climate journey, with the tools and knowledge to become powerful voices. It aims to empower and inspire women to strengthen their leadership skills and deliver climate initiatives rooted in the principles of inclusion and equity.

The Women Leadership in Climate Action e-course was developed by C40 and UNITAR with the exclusive support of the Fondation L’Oréal, and with knowledge contributions from the Columbia Climate School and CARE experts.

C40 has been a longstanding partner of the Fondation L’Oréal, we have previously collaborated on the Women4Climate Initiative from 2017 to 2024. Women4Climate was a C40 initiative focused on empowering and inspiring the next generation of women climate leaders.
